2) Working at Height Advanced Safety Course (WAH - Level 2)

| Eligibility |
:

Open to all operators, who need to access and be involved in aerial rigging works on any form of elevated building, rooftops and steel structures, where the means of access is restricted and edge protection is inadequate or not provided.

Pre-requisite
|
:
|
Minimum with CIDB Green Card and Medical Certification and holds a valid WAH Basic Safety (Level 1) Certification, with minimum working at height experience of one hundred hours, within the first year period, from the initial WAH Basic Course. |
| Course Content |
:

A Hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control measures, current legislations and standards, fall prevention & fall arrest, emergency response including aerial rescue, rigging safety; use, inspection and maintenance of fall protection systems, rescue equipments, lifting equipments and PPE.

A more comprehensive approach through the theory, demonstration, group dynamics, written test and practical assessment on elevated structures.

Course Notes & Certification

Notes provided with the certificate of attendance and passport card, valid for a two-year period. Thereafter, a re-assessment is required, through a one-day refresher course, to extend the validity period to another two years. |

| Conditions for Application of Refresher courses: |

|
Date of application should not exceed two years from the last expiry date. If it does exceed, then applicants will have to attend the original two day course. If the date of application exceeds the first year since the expiry date, then the employer needs to state and certify the period (in hours, or days or weeks) the applicant has been working at height in the previous year.
